Jasmine Avery

Jasmine Avery is a passionate leader with a hunger for motivating others. Her leadership style attracts those with potential and those in an identity crisis. Her calling is to the lost, the broken, and the abandoned. Jasmine seeks to help all people realize and become everything that God has called them to be, whether in the marketplace or the sanctuary.

Jasmine Avery was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Missouri State University. While attending Missouri State University, Jasmine became heavily involved in campus ministry. She served in multiple roles, including as a member of the praise dance team, intercessory prayer team, worship team, ministerial team, and even administrative teams. Jasmine is an ordained minister and has been preaching the gospel since March 2012.

After graduating from Missouri State University, she went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and now practices family law in Austin, Texas, and the surrounding areas. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, Chris, and her puppy, Creed. Since becoming a licensed attorney, Jasmine has been accepted into many leadership organizations throughout the state of Texas and the city of Austin, including Leadership State Bar of Texas, Barbara Jordan Inn of Court, Leadership Austin, and others.

Jasmine's testimony is a story of resilience and redemption. Before starting her Sophomore year in college, Jasmine became pregnant and subsequently had an abortion. At this moment in her life, she became overwhelmed with guilt, shame, and condemnation. Through her experience at a campus ministry, Jasmine began to find her voice again and to be freed from the grips of religious thinking. Jasmine now serves as the Logistics Director of that same campus ministry called Occupy Campus Ministry, at the second campus plant located at Texas State University. She also serves on the Global Executive Team as the Director of Survey & Planting

Jasmine is a mentor to those searching for their purpose and a fearless intercessor with an Apostolic grace. Jasmine is living proof that God can and will use every part of you if you allow Him to come into your life.
